Interview Questions

1. What is 1 thing you dislike from both the NA and EU meta? - /u/kamkazi
Answer: Both metas are very similar so its really hard to say what we dislike from each region, but if we had to choose, it would be how simplistic and repetetive the early game is.

2. Due to the lack of previous LAN experience for most members on your team, do you think other teams with that experience are at an advantage? - /u/Hell_Shoot
Answer: Teams with LAN experience may have a small edge on the other teams, but they will most likely still get nervous, seeing as it’s the biggest smite tournament to date.

Realz, prOxyQQ and Badgah already have previous lan experience from various games. CaptainTwig and enQu have no previous lan experience but we think they will be able to adapt quickly.

3. I'd like to know what they plan on doing with the prize money. - /u/Z0bie
Answer: It’s all depending on how much we win of course, but

prOxyQQ: Improvements to my streaming setup and a lot of beer.
Badgah: New computer monitor.
Realzx: Take a vacaction somewhere nice.
enQu: Finance a new apartment.
CaptainTwig: New bike with a helmet and some knee pads :D

4. Is there something you would like to see in future god kits/maps? - /u/jOASYyEe
Answer:
Map: Reducing the importance of mid harpies.
God-kits: Abilities that utilizes the 3d perspective of smite. Eg. Desert Fury, Valkyrie’s Discretion. Also we would like to have more high risk high reward abilities in the game Eg. Crushing wave.

5. Do you have any rituals before you play a tourny/ranked -/u/Snowstorms_
Answer: We dont really have any rituals but we usually go through picks/bans we want, discuss tactic and try to predict enemy picks.

6. What do you think is the strongest trait of the other team? - /u/Morgaeus
Answer: They have played as the same five for a long period of time now and playing against them once in the Dignitas cup and also from watching them play weekly tournaments we can really see how good their synergy is in team fights. Another good trait they have is that their shot calling and shots drinking is really strong.

7. Do you think the overall performance of teams in LAN will be different from the weekly tournaments? - /u/GeneralDeath198
Answer: Definitely! A lot of players in different teams have not experienced the LAN setting before, so for most players it will be a very different enviroment compared to playing in the comfort of your home.

8. Can you give us a little insight on how you feel about the EU/NA Meta?
Answer: Seeing as the EU/NA “Meta” is almost identical, it’s very hard to pick out anything substansual that is different between the two.

9. What match up is your team most excited to see or hope to see?
Answer: Any EU vs NA matchup will be very exciting to watch seeing as the teams never really get the chance to face eachother on fair terms.

10. Outside of the tournament, what are you looking forward to the most
Answer: Meeting all the HiRez employees, players, content creators, fans and cosplayers?
Seeing the sights of Atlanta.
