Interview Questions

1. (Mostly for Zap, Toliy, and Lass) How has living next to your teammates made your overall gameplay stronger? - /u/kamkazi
Answer: Living together has been a completely new and refreshing experience for all of us. It increases our synergy a lot and it's a step forward until the ultimate goal of a full 5 man gaming house. It's a lot easier and more fun to theory craft together when we're face to face while drinking a beer or two or three or four....

2. Do you think your previous LAN experience will help in this tournament? - /u/Hell_Shoot
Answer: We strongly believe our previous LAN experience will certainly help us a lot for this tournament because we know what to expect and have been through several of them. 3/5 of us have been to Boston for PAX East while having all 5 for the other tournaments; Austin for RTX, Seattle for PAX Prime, Atlanta for SIEGECON, and Shanghai, China for the TCG Carnival. We are used to the environment and the crowds so we will be less nervous than some other teams or players that don't have any LAN experience.

3. I'd like to know what they plan on doing with the prize money. - /u/Z0bie
Answer: Hookers 'n' Blow(j/ki) What we do with the prize money is the last thing on our mind. Our focus is the task at hand and to prepare for each opponent that is in our way.

4. Is there something you would like to see in future god kits/maps? - /u/jOASYyEe
Answer: Making the map a little more dynamic somehow would be a nice little additional touch to make the game more complex. The way the current buffs/harpies and timers are layed out, it's pretty easy to predict a lot of jungle movements and take advantage of enemy rotations. Also some more hunters wouldn't hurt.

5. Do you have any rituals before you play a tourny/ranked -/u/Snowstorms_
Answer: Our pre-tournament ritual is having a team night out. Whether it's at a bar, at the movies, or just playing Munchkin together, we always stick together and just have fun.

6. What do you think is the strongest trait of the other team? - /u/Morgaeus
Answer: The strongest trait of SK is their flexibility and ability to mix things up with their picks and bans.

7. Do you think the overall performance of teams in LAN will be different from the weekly tournaments? - /u/GeneralDeath198
Answer: We believe overall performance of the teams in LAN will be different because it's a completely different environment and everyone handles it differently whether good or bad.

8. Can you give us a little insight on how you feel about the EU/NA Meta?
Answer: The EU/NA meta is relatively the same. The focus is on mid harpies per the game design. However, EU prefer some other picks compared to NA.

9. What match up is your team most excited to see or hope to see?
Answer: We're looking forward to see TSM vs. DENIAL because if we beat SK, we'll face the winner of that match.

10. Outside of the tournament, what are you looking forward to the most during your stay in Atlanta, Georgia?
Answer: Outside of the tournament, we're looking forward to just hanging out with the HiRez crew and the creatures along with meeting all the fans.
