A graphic guide to the new 6 ban system

With the start of the next conquest qualifier season right around the corner we want
to take a moment to discuss one of the new systems implemented for the season.

For the entirety of the new season we will be utilizing a 6 god ban system.
By utilizing this new system the minimum god requirement for entering the tournament had been raised from 14 to 16 gods.

Not everyone has seen the new banning system in action. So below is a graphic guide example draft using the new ban system. We hope this guide will help new and old players better understand the new system.

We feel the new ban system will make tournaments even more exciting as new strategies emerge.

Ban Phase

This is exactly the same as previous tournaments. The team that bans first receives first pick. After first pick Team B picks 2 gods. Lastly, two picks for Team A.

THIS IS WHERE THE BAN PHASE CHANGES.

Originally Team B would pick two gods. Now Team B will pick 1 god and then both teams will ban another round of gods. The first team to ban this round is the opposite of first ban from the original banning phase. So Team B bans 1 god and then Team A bans 1 god. After the new bans come in Team B will chose their next god.
