Hi-Rez Studios, Inc. and affiliates (collectively, “Hi-Rez”, “we”, or “us”) respect the trust that parents have placed in us and recognize the importance of protecting our younger players. This page contains helpful information for parents and guardians whose children may be using our Site (as defined in the Privacy Policy) or any Hi-Rez game(s) or service(s) offered through the Site (the “Services”) or who may wish to participate in any of our events.

We encourage you to regularly check back on this page for updates as we add more information or features in the future to continue to provide understanding, control and transparency to parents.

MINIMUM PLAYER AGE

We only offer our games and services to individuals aged 13 or older. All Hi-Rez Studios games are carefully vetted for age-appropriate content by applicable third-party rating bodies. If your child is under 13 and you believe they are accessing our Site or Services, please contact us at [email protected].

Children over the age of 13 and under the age of 18 must have their parent review our Privacy Policy, Hi-Rez Studios Terms of Service and Use Agreement, and the applicable End User License Agreement (available at https://www.hirezstudios.com/legal) (collectively, the “Documentation”).

MARKETING

Players are free to sign up to receive Hi-Rez marketing communications, including event invitations, and special offers, as well as newsletters with the latest info on our games. Signing up is free; it is an additional benefit we provide players in servicing their accounts. This preference can be changed at any time in a player’s Hi-Rez Account page. If your child is under 18 and you do not wish for them to be eligible to receive such marketing communications, please email us at [email protected].

EVENT PARTICIPATION

Hi-Rez hosts or participates in several Esports events throughout the year where skilled players may, from time to time, be invited to participate if they qualify. Players under the age of 18 are prohibited from participation without parent permission. It should be noted that Hi-Rez currently does not provide chaperones and that it is recommended that a parent either accompany the child to such events or provide a chaperone to accompany the child. For more information or questions, please reach out to your Esports event coordinator.

FOR EU RESIDENTS: DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

For security reasons, we currently only allow the account creator to exercise data subject rights with respect to personal data associated with that account. We recommend that you work with your child to submit a request for the account through opening a Support Ticket at https://www.hirezstudios.com/support or e-mailing [email protected]. For more information on how we process and store player information, please check out our Privacy Policy.
